Budgeting & Planning

A budget is a plan for money. Planning sets the direction for the next few years. Forecasting uses what already happened to estimate what comes next. We help with all three, in plain terms.

Budgeting

A budget documents how the overall plan will be carried out month to month, and what you expect to spend. We build it from your actual history, not a template, and we review it with you against actual results so it stays useful.

Planning

Planning outlines the company's financial direction and expectations for the next three to five years: hiring, equipment, locations, debt. It gives the budget a purpose and gives lenders and partners something concrete to read.

Forecasting

Forecasting uses accumulated historical data to estimate financial outcomes for future months or years. We forecast cash first, because cash is what keeps a business open, then revenue and expenses. Forecasts are estimates; we say so and update them as real numbers arrive.

Who this is for. A good fit for owners planning a hire, a second location or financing, and for anyone who wants to stop being surprised by a slow month.
